Abstract

This speech was delivered at the University of Arkansas's Tyson Center for Faith and Spirituality in the Workplace (Fayetteville, AR). In it Pollard considers the 2008 financial crisis, arguing that the collapse requires business leaders to adopt new models of leadership and new ways of educating future business leaders. Such measures would ensure that corporate firms will always consider profit alongside the more significant goal of forming moral character.
