According to his biography The Romance of a Consecrated Life, Alexander Beers journeyed to Nome, Alaska, in 1903 to collect a debt for Seattle Seminary. His trip was the basis for a lecture given at Greenville College and Spring Arbor Seminary advertised in the flyer.
