Description

The Jean Kim Foundation for the Homeless Education was founded in 2015 to open doors of education for men and women who are currently/ formerly homeless or at risk of homelessness. In this session, participants will have a chance to learn about the history and challenges of the JK foundation and to hear from the current students about their resilient and powerful stories of pursuing an education despite their struggles in poverty and homelessness. Through the aspirational stories of healing and recovery, participants will have a chance to explore new ways of approaching the complex issues of homelessness.
