Seattle Pacific University and the Faculty Life Office present

The Future of Work in an Age of a Pandemic, Socio-Political Disruption, and Rapid Technological Change

Monday–Friday, October 5–9

Monday through Thursday we will have a thematic session each day led by a faculty member and an external conversational partner, who together will explore one of the themes of the day regarding the future of work. The week culminates on Friday with a 20-minute keynote address by Andrew Yang and a panel discussion by faculty and industry experts.

About the day of common learning

Now in its 19th year, the Day of Common Learning (this year, known as the Days of Common Learning) is a campuswide event in which students, faculty, staff, and people from the greater Seattle area have the opportunity to engage in deep thought and conversation around a topic of interest and concern.

All events are free and open to the public, and this year the events are online.

You can start using social media now to comment on what you are hearing and responding to throughout the week!
