Description

Students all across the U.S. struggle with proof based learning in classes such as Abstract Algebra, Number Theory, and Geometry. To find the source of this struggle I have analyzed a common core-based geometry textbook for high school students to decipher whether students are being offered enough opportunities to learn proof and logic that can be built upon in following mathematics classes.
