Description
The DeShazer family shares the Gospel in a Japanese farm village. Florence reads from a Kami-shibaie ("flash pictures") retelling of the story of the Prodigal Son while son John holds the microphone for her. Jacob speaks to a villager with daughter Carol, who holds a set of tracts to pass out. Daughter Ruth stays close to her mother. This photo was featured as the cover image of the November 1963 issue of "The Missionary Tidings."
