The April 1914 Cascade (volume 4, issue 8) includes photographs of the Philopolemical Debating Club; student-written stories, poems, and essays; reports of student clubs (Alethepian Club, Alexandrian Literary Society, Missionary Society, and Philopolemical Debating Club); items of school news; a section of exchanges (comments on other student newspapers); and a section of jokes ("Joshes") and advertisements for Seattle-area businesses. The issue was produced by members of the Philopolemical Debating Club.
