Abstract

2012/02/22. Children who lack a place to call home face unique challenges. They are more likely to face physical ailments, are often malnourished, are socially ostracized, and as a result, may encounter more learning issues, both behavioral and cognitive. First Place School, serving families in the greater Seattle area, addresses the needs of the whole child.
