The June 1914 Cascade (volume 4 issue 9) includes photos of students and faculty; music and lyrics for the school song ("The Dear Old Sem"); student-written stories, poems, and essays (including material originally published in earlier issues); descriptions of student clubs (German Club, Alethepian Club, Philopolemical Club, Alpha Club, Intercollegiate Prohibition Association, and Students' Missionary Society); items of school news and on music, art, and athletics (tennis and baseball); a section of exchanges (comments on other student newspapers); a list of alumni; and a section of jokes ("Joshes") and advertisements for Seattle-area businesses. The issue served as the yearbook for 1914.
