Abstract
Letter from Jacob DeShazer to family in Toddville, Iowa, apologizing that they haven't written recently and relaying that Florence isn't feeling well; describing some of their day-to-day activities; describing the state of athletics at S.P.C. and Florence's part in them; and wishing that the Mathenys lived closer so that they could get to know Jacob better.
