Abstract
This historical documentation concerns the extended Tolliver family of siblings who founded the Church of God in Christ (COGIC), a Pentecostal organization in the State of Washington. Inclusive of these founding families are Tolliver, Reese, Jones, and Chatman as the cornerstone in this religious venture. The collective faith of the founders is rooted in holiness and sanctification in Jesus Christ through the power of the Holy Ghost. This extended family has prospered and prevailed in spite of their collective adversary and adversity. This documentation primarily tracts their COGIC beginnings in Washington State from its inception in 1923 thru 1972.
