This series showcases excellent Economics Capstone research projects completed by seniors in SPU's School of Business, Government, and Economics. The Economics Degree requires rigorous quantitative analysis combined with critical thinking and creativity. Economics is the study of human decision making, interconnectedness, stewardship, and sustainability. This major emphasizes development and financial economics, vital issues that affect human flourishing, while emphasizing a Christian perspective on individual and society's decision making. The degree culminates with students identifying an original research question along with data to interrogate it. Students propose and analyze a capstone research question that best fits their passions and future goals. These projects exemplify the synergy of student learning and interests in the Economics major.
