Description
Using the Standard Addition Method, a simple analytical chemistry technique, our research shows that the classical colorimetric ninhydrin assay (commonly used for determining amino acid concentrations within cells) can be used to determine intracellular proline in a dependable range to do a qualitative and quantitative comparison of two different ProC genes within a complex cellular background.
