Pivot Northwest Research, based at Seattle Pacific University’s School of Theology, was an innovative research and consultative group funded by Lilly Endowment beginning in 2017 whose aim was to gather, guide, and mentor leaders and congregations to better understand the social context and experiences of young adults (23-29 year-olds), and help those communities design, launch, and evaluate new ministries to serve that population. Pivot Northwest Research focused on understanding church differentiators, faith practices & growth, faith community participation, and change management.
