Description

With the increase of the life span, there has been an increase of diagnosis of dementia. Research done has not focused on the impact the diagnosis has on those giving care. Information will be gathered using phenomenological interviews, observations, and the brief RCOPE. Exploration of possible outcomes and a discussion of the impact upon care givers are described.
