Description
A missing piece in the current literature on racial microaggressions is the examination of faith-based racial microaggressions (FBRM). To date, no instruments assessing FBRM have been developed. This poster describes an ongoing project to create and validate a measure of FBRM for use with students at Christian universities. Based on a literature review, we created a 43 item measure. Next, we received feedback on our items from two multicultural experts. After incorporating their feedback, we administered the survey to examine the psychometric properties of our measure. This presentation will include these preliminary findings and also outline next steps for research.
