Description
Pregnancy loss impacts couples' physical intimacy with reductions in overall sexual satisfaction (Hiefner, 2018). This study investigates the effects of recurrent pregnancy losses on female sexual desire, compared to male sexual desire. The research will be conducted by administering the Global Measure of Sexual Satisfaction and the Index of Sexual Satisfaction to 200 couples who have experienced recurrent miscarriages in the past five years of their relationship. The hypothesis is that the more miscarriages a woman experiences, the less desire she will feel, whereas men will not experience such a decrease in desire.
