Description

A diagnosis of endometriosis and its symptoms have been known to decrease quality of life, effect relationships, self-esteem, and increase depression and anxiety (Ruszala et. al., 2022). The purpose of this study is to determine if EFT is the most effective model of therapy for endometriosis couples. I hypothesize that this is true. In this study, 30 couples in which one partner has endometriosis will participate in 10 therapeutic sessions. The participants will be randomly split into an EFT group and a control group. Their progress will be assessed. The couples’ progress will be assessed again in six months.
