Description
Understanding a student's perception of support can create an opportunity to analyze factors contributing to academic success. This study investigates how perceived social support differs between high school and college and the implications on students' achievement. We collected data via an online survey of undergraduate college students across the nation. We intend to run multiple regressions and correlation tests. We aim to evaluate seven factors: the relationships between the internalization of one's emotions, description and elaboration of emotions, perceived quality of college and high school, comparison between home and school, and self-determined thriving, determination, and belonging.
