Draft in typescript of Act 1 Scene 1 of an untitled play written, presumably, for a Northwest Training School for Deaconesses, Missionaries and Other Christian Workers production in anticipation of a real or imagined "trip to Japan," possibly (though by no means certainly) by NTS student Helen Strong, whose name appears in pencil on the back of page 3, and matches the name inscribed on the Bulletin of the NTS dated 1930-1931 in which it was found.
