Description
My project explores direct instruction and inquiry-based learning as two different teaching strategies in mathematics education. The purpose of my project is to conduct an analysis of direct instruction and inquiry-based learning curricula in order to synthesize these contrasting approaches to teaching in a five-day lesson plan that differentiates mathematics instruction.
