Description
In the United States, approximately one-third of international students are from China (Institute of International Education, 2017). Although Chinese international students have been the largest ethnic group among international students in the US in the past decade and are still constantly growing, their mental health and well-being have not been adequately studied. We conducted a literature research to 1) summarize existing knowledge of mental health in Chinese international students in the US and 2) examine the limitations of existing research to provide recommendations for further research that can inform clinical practices.
