Description
The proposed study will investigate the use of Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT) for couples experiencing relational distress and in which one partner is a veteran who had returned from an active duty tour in the last three months and had been diagnosed with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder. This research will use the Dyadic Adjustment Scale to measure relational distress in couples prior to participating in 16-weeks of EFCT or receiving psycho-education and post-completion.
