Efficacy of the Biopsychosocial-Spiritual (BPSS) model in the treatment of couples facing infertility

Description
The Biopsychosocial-Spiritual model has most commonly been researched within the context of palliative care and chronic illness such as cancer, heart failure, and kidney failure. Studies have shown that women with an infertility diagnosis carry as much stress as those with other major illnesses such as cancer or heart disease. The Biopsychosocial-Spiritual model has shown positive results when utilized with clients facing other forms of chronic illness. My proposed research would look at the efficacy of the BPSS model compared to the more common BPS model for the treatment of couples facing infertility.
